Works
We built Kiveo for people who love reading but don’t love the noise. No social feeds, no streaks, no leaderboards. Just a quiet place to track what you read, save the lines that matter, and see your reading life take shape over time.

A timer that respects you. No goal, no nudge, no shame.
When you settle in with a book, start a session. Kiveo tracks your reading time quietly in the background — even if you leave the app. A gentle Live Activity on your Lock Screen shows your session is running, without pulling you out of the story.
Finished a session? Log what you read. Reading doesn’t always happen on schedule, and we’re not here to penalize that.

Some sentences change the way you see things. Kiveo gives you a quiet place to keep them. Save quotes while you read, and revisit them whenever you want.
You can also write short reflections. Not reviews for anyone else; just a few honest lines about what the book means to you. Your reading journal grows alongside your library, one book at a time.

Everything you’ve ever started, kept where you can find it.
We keep your library simple. Books live on one of pre-set categories: Want to Read, Currently Reading, Completed, Paused, or DN. You can move them whenever you’re ready.
Need to narrow down your next read? The Nightstand holds up to seven books: the ones you’re genuinely reaching for. Not a wish list. Not a backlog. Just the books within arm’s reach.
And if you started a book and it didn’t land? That’s fine. Set it aside. We don’t call it quitting; some books just aren’t right for right now.

Promote anything from your library when something catches you; re-order whenever the mood shifts. The cap is intentional: seven is enough to feel like a plan, not so many it becomes another list to feel behind on.

Your library is yours. You can export your data at any time, including Books, Shelves, Quotes, and Reflections.

Dark Mode
Easier on the eyes. You can choose between Light and Dark mods, or let the app switch based on your system settings (our default).
Reduce Motion
Animations stand down when your system asks them to.
