Kiveo 1.1.0 for iOS

Share cards, custom books, full backup and restore, book aliases, and a home screen that shows everything you’re reading.

The story: New: Sharing Cards, Custom Books, And A Fresh Look

Added

  • Share cards. Turn a quote, a book you’re reading or have finished, or a whole shelf into an image to share, in six colour themes and two shapes.
  • Custom books. Add a book by hand when search can’t find it, with a cover from your photos, and use it everywhere any other book goes.
  • Backup and restore. Export your books, shelves, sessions, quotes and reflections to a single file, and bring them back by merging or replacing.
  • Book aliases. Give a book with a long or unwanted title a shorter name, shown throughout the app with a small pencil mark.
  • Everything you’re reading, on Home. The Home screen now shows every book in progress, in a row you can scroll.
  • Your year in reading. The Home summary can now be filtered by year, with the covers of the books you finished.
  • Share a book. Send a link to any book, and for other Kiveo readers it opens straight in the app.
  • iPad. Kiveo now adapts its layout to iPad, with the tab bar along the top.

Changed

  • Logging a past session. Enter the pages you read rather than the page you reached, use percent for audiobooks, or log the time alone.
  • Dates you can correct. A book’s added, started and finished dates can now be edited from its detail screen.
  • A new status picker. Your Library, shelves and book pickers share one pill-shaped status filter, and your choice is remembered.
  • Hide Did Not Finish. A Library toggle takes the DNF option out of every status picker, if you’d rather not see it.
  • Links open in Kiveo. Web links now open inside the app instead of sending you off to Safari.
  • Liquid Glass on iOS 26. Toolbars and the tab bar take on the new look, and the tab bar tucks away as you scroll.
  • Clearer stats. Each stat card on Home now carries a short line saying what it counts.
  • A quicker Home. The Home screen loads and draws faster.

Fixed

  • Logging a past session can no longer add more pages than a book has left.
  • Logging more sessions no longer overwrites a book’s finished date.
  • The Live Activity no longer gets stuck on the Lock Screen after a session ends or the app closes unexpectedly.
  • Recovered sessions keep their original start time, so their logs show the right times.
  • Session counts and reading time are no longer inflated across the app.
  • A session’s log now appears in order, newest first.
  • Percentage progress now shows correctly on books and progress bars.
  • Quotes and reflections no longer fail to save in some situations.
  • Live sessions no longer risk freezing.
  • A single Continue Reading card now fills the width on iPhone, and its covers stay cached.
  • Settings and About use the right accent colour again.
  • Your Library layout is remembered between launches.
