- A cover-tinted Live Activity. The Lock Screen Live Activity now takes its background from the colour of the book’s cover, darkened for easy reading.

- A redesigned Dynamic Island. All three views are rebuilt around the Kiveo mark and your timer, and a tap opens the session in place of the small pause and stop buttons.
- A calmer Lock Screen. The Live Activity sets the title in Bitter, gives the timer room, lets the cover fade into the background, and shows a typeset letter when a book has no cover.
- Session cards, redesigned. A single-book session shows a larger title, the author, and its pages and time at a glance, while a multi-book session keeps a compact list.
Fixed
- With a daily reminder on, the inactivity nudge now takes over once you’ve been away a while, instead of never arriving.
- Discarding a recovered session now sticks, so the banner doesn’t come back on the next launch.
- A recovered session’s log now agrees with its total time.
- The Live Activity for a recovered session now shows the right time, quote count and book count.
- A recovered session no longer flickers when you save a quote or reflection.
- Live session log entries now appear in your language instead of always in English.
- Swap Cover and Swap Edition now highlight exactly one current edition.
